This Carso DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Vitovska 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards 260 metres above sea level on calcareous and red soil with pergola and sapling training system. Vinification: spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and long maceration in stone vats. The wine is aged 24 months in stone vats and 12 months in 5 hl oak casks. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
