This prestigious Valtellina Superiore DOCG represents the pinnacle of Italian winemaking excellence. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards grapes from the single vineyard "Gess" in the municipality of Sondrio on granite-rich soils at an altitude of 455-550 meters. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and long maceration on the skins for 25 days. The wine is aged 24 months in 225-500 litre oak barrels.
