Friulano Russiz Superiore

This exceptional Collio DOC showcases the authentic character of Friuli Venezia Giulia. At 13.5% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Friulano 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on eocene hilly terrain, composed of marl and sandstone, at an altitude between 80-200 meters. Vinification: cold maceration and alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, while 15% of the mass ferments in oak barrels. The wine is aged 8 months in steel (85%) and in wood (15%). A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
