Tasting Notes

This Colli di Luni DOC captures the distinctive personality of Liguria terroir. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Vermentino 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It presents bright acidity with fresh mineral notes and excellent varietal expression. The fruit is sourced from vineyards from 20-year-old vines located in the localities of Luni, Castelnuovo Magra and Sarzana, at 50-150 meters above sea level on pebbly, clayey and rich in skeleton soils. Vinification: soft pressing and alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature for about 15 days. The wine is aged 2-3 months in steel tanks. A wine capturing the coastal, saline character typical of Liguria's terraced vineyards.
