Tasting Notes

Among the most celebrated expressions of its category, this Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG showcases exceptional craftsmanship. At 15.5% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the vineyard of San Gervasio, 700 m. above sea level, with southern exposure, on soils rich in sand. Vinification: maceration for 10 days, then fermentation for twenty days in steel. Withering lasted until mid-December. The wine is aged 12 months in barrique. A wine true to the meticulous Lombard approach to winemaking.
