Tasting Notes

Hailing from Calabria, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. Its 14% alcohol content underpins a rich, muscular structure. Crafted from Calabrese (Nero d'Avola) 100% , this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Serradenari mga in La Morra, at 480 metres above sea level on sandy and calcareous soils with south-west exposure. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged 6 months in chestnut barrels. A wine capturing the sun-drenched character of Italy's southernmost mainland region.
