This Collio DOC captures the distinctive personality of Friuli Venezia Giulia terroir. At 14% alcohol, it delivers real concentration and power on the palate. Crafted from Pinot Grigio 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards guyot system on marly and limestone soil called "pona". Harvest in a state of over-ripening of the grapes. Vinification: spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in wooden vats and maceration for 6-7 days on the skins. The wine is aged 9 months in Slavonian oak barrels. A wine showing the influence of the region's cool alpine breezes.
