Petit Verdot 'Timperosse' Mandrarossa

Produced in Sicily, this wine reflects a genuine sense of place. With 13.5% alcohol, it strikes a confident balance between body and freshness. Crafted from Petit Verdot 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards on soils of sandy type of medium texture, south facing. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation and shortly maceration for 4 - 6 days at a controlled temperature in steel vats. The wine is aged few months in steel vats. A wine showing the island's unique volcanic terroir and Mediterranean influence.
