Crafted from Nerello Mascalese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. It displays rich color intensity with complex aromas and a persistent finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the Barbabecchi district from centenary vines located at 870-910 meters above sea level with north and north-east exposure on volcanic soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged at least 18 months in neutral fiberglass tanks and at least 18 months in bottle.
