This Alto Adige/Sudtirol DOC captures the distinctive personality of Alto Adige terroir. At 13% alcohol, it presents a well-balanced and harmonious profile. Crafted from Schiava 95%, Lagrein 5%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards a selection of vineyards face south, with vineyards at least 30 years, soils rich in clay and limestone. Vinification: maceration on the skins for 10 days and fermentation in steel tanks. The wine is aged 6 months in steel and wooden barrels. A wine capturing the crystalline character of Alto Adige's high-altitude vineyards.
