The fruit is sourced from vineyards in the Contrade Arcuria, Malpasso, Favazza, Guardiola and Feudo di mezzo, on the vineyards of 70-100 years old, at an altitude of 500-100 m. above sea level. Vinification: fermentation with indigenous yeasts and long maceration on the skins. The wine is aged 18 months in large oak barrels.
