Tasting Notes

This Chianti Classico DOCG stands as a benchmark for Tuscany's highest quality classification. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Sangiovese 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect layered dark fruit aromas, firm tannins and a long, satisfying finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards in Pievasciata and Castelnuovo Berardenga, at 440 metres above sea level on calcareous and clayey soils. Vinification: alcoholic fermentation in steel vats controlled temperature with maceration for 15 days and malolactic in barrels. The wine is aged 18-20 months in oak barrels and barrique. A wine true to the storied winemaking heritage of Tuscany.
