Tasting Notes

Hailing from Lazio, this wine offers an authentic taste of the local terroir. With 14% alcohol content, it offers a full-bodied and robust structure. Crafted from Bellone 100%, this wine expresses the unique terroir characteristics. Expect crisp citrus and orchard fruit aromas framed by a clean, mineral finish. The fruit is sourced from vineyards over 20-years-old vines in a amrny soil called “ponca”, from the Slovenian villages called Barbana, Biljana and Kozana. Vinification: soft pressing and spontaneous fermentation in terracotta amphorae. The wine is aged 8 months in amphora and 10 months in bottle. A wine true to Lazio's ancient winemaking traditions.
